Corona Discharge ozone
generators produce far more ozone than comparably sized UV
ozone generators. The DELZONE ECLIPSE line of CD ozone
generators produce up to 5 times the concentration of ozone
produced by a UV generator. These Eclipse units produce
ozone concentrations reaching 1,350 ppm, while UV generators
typically top at about 550 ppm.
DEL Ozone EclipseT Corona Discharge Ozone Generators are
designed for simple and reliable operation. The EclipseT
line consists of three models: the Eclipse-1, Eclipse-2, and
Eclipse-4 are designed for use on pools up to 7,000 / 25,000
gallons, 15,000 / 50,000 gallons, and 25,000 / 100,000
gallons, respectively.
DEL Ozone is now offering a product called the DELZONE Total
Eclipse 4 for residential pools up to 50,000 gallons! This
product doubles the ozone output and capacity of our Total
Eclipse 2 ozone generator.
The Total Eclipse Two and Four have a built-in recirculation
pump and injector assembly to recirculate pool water and
inject ozone 24 hours a day (independent of your pools main
pump). The ozone generator can be plumbed off of the main
circulation pipe after the filter and before the heater with
a dedicated return pool line back to the pool. It can also
be directly plumbed into return lines in new or existing
pool applications.
Note: Ozone can cause VINYL liners to develop fading around
the ozone inlet. If you have a VINYL-lined pool, DEL
strongly suggests the ozone generator be installed with an
MDV (Mixing Degas Vessel) which will reduce the chance of
the VINYL fading at the ozone inlet. DEL Ozone is not liable
for fading of VINYL-lined pools.
